Marguerite Feldmann, President 2011-2012

Marguerite Feldmann, President SIAWC In May 2008, Marguerite Feldmann bought a house in Springfield. She intended it to serve as a second home "near" the beach for her and her family to visit and to serve as a living work of art. Once she moved in, she never left, and the house became home. She fell in love with the quirky community, bustling with events and parties and people who know and look out for each other.

Margy left the cold Washington, D.C. area where she served in a senior management position at the American Red Cross National Headquarters, Biomedical Services, and has a background of experience in human resources, fundraising, marketing and sales. Margy has been an active member of the Springfield community as a member of SACARC, SWS, the SPAR Board, and past Treasurer of the SIAWC. Margy's son and daughter, and their spouses, remain in the greater Washington D.C. area with her six grandchildren, bui she looks forward to the day when they tire of the cold and head for the sun and warmth of Springfield and the SIAWC!
